Who Am I?
"Who am I?", You ask. Tis a good question. Who Am I? If I knew the answer to that I could tell you. Do we ever really know who we are? I mean doesn't it seem that about the time you think you have it figured out who you are, something throws you for a loop and you find yourself sitting, wondering all over again, "Who Am I?" In fact, if YOU should discover who "I" am, will you please let me know?

I have been around all these years and still I'm not exactly sure who I am. But, it has been fun trying to find it out. So I guess I can start with some known and maybe unknown particulars.

My name is Joalla K. I was born on December 24. Mom says it is the last year she asked for baby dolls for Christmas because she got em live. Anyway, I was born on the East Coast and have lived all over the USA. Currently my home is in Arizona and yes it is HOT! here, but then they say it is a dry heat. I have always wondered what that was supposed to mean. To me 112 degrees is unbearable no matter what kind of heat it is!!!

Speaking of "dolls", that brings up one of my other interests/hobbies. I have been making porcelain dolls since October, 1991. Carolyn, my friend, teacher, mentor, has been very instrumental in helping me to attain my status of "Doll Artisan", a title I proudly carry. Now that I have finished school, I hope to be able to once again devote more time to finishing the many dolls that I have started. Please feel free to peruse my "World of Dolls" should you have the same interest.

*Chuckle*, how funny the mention of something just seems to lead into the next part of My Worlds. As I told you there are many facets to my life and they stand alone or overlap in various ways, usually trying to overlap all at the same time. But for now the next thing would be "school". I have just finished two looooong and arduous years of education getting my Associated Arts Degree in Visual Communications. Yep you guessed it, I am a graphic designer. I got my education at Al Collins Graphic Design School, Tempe, Arizona. Boy do they teach it all to you, but the instructors there are good ones and the curriculm is always being upgraded to keep their students on top of the current graphic world. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of my instructors for taking the time to make sure that I would do the best that I could. Robin, Kip, Laura, Mickey, Marlene, Rob, Eric, Brad, George and my mentor, Rusty , thank you all from the bottom of my heart, it was hard work but you all found a way to make it fun and interesting. I shall always remember you as specials "friends" in my life. I would also like to mention Joe Lovas, who took a special interest in me when I needed it most, God rest his soul, we all miss him. Now that I am finished, and I proudly tell you I graduated with Honors, I have that wonderful task of finding the all elusive perfect job. When I do, I shall add an additional page regarding it as it will be the newest of the facets of my life. Gee, if anyone out there knows of a good opening, by all means please drop me an email and thank you in advance for doing so. I truly enjoy the 3D hands on model/package design, but also have fun with logo design, corporate ID design and advertising.

With the finish of that, it leads me now into a very large and wide spread aspect of My Worlds, "Family and Friends". Where do I even begin to cover such a subject? Suffice it to say I have family and friends all over the world. With my discovering the "online experience" which started out as an inexpensive form of entertainment that soon lead into a major addiction, my world of friends has grown in leaps and bounds. I could never have enough space to cover each and everyone of you, but I have dedicated a page to some I consider very special to me. If you do not find your name there, it does not mean you are not thought of, only that I ran out of space available. Drop me a note slapping me up side da head and I shall see what I can do.

I am often found in the world of mIRC where I was introduced into an online role play game. My second love, I swear it is! I took to role play gaming like a baby duck does to water. If you had told me a year ago that I had an evil side, I would have argued to the death. I have a lot of fun with playing White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade and Dark Ages. My imagination is unleashed and I have a blast with it. What a way to vent. No, I do not think I am a vampire but play the game with all the fervor as my other much more experienced gaming friends. The two chronicles I play in are played on #Embraced, on efnet and #Dragon Hall, on dalnet. We have all gotten to know each other very well and become fast and tight friends. I had the honor of hosting a channel party here in February. Sixteen friends from my channel #Embraced converged here from all over the United States for 4 to 5 days of partying and gaming. Talk about a Party!!! I look forward to the next one in September in San Franscisco. If you are interested in role play gaming, make sure to drop onto the pages dedicated to each of them. Even more information can be gained by visiting White Wolf's home page and Dragon Hall's home page , so jump in there and have fun just like I did.

Well, for now I guess that is pretty much me in a nutshell. Hehe, big nutshell huh? Or is that big nut!? Ha Ha Ha! If you have managed to make it this far in my rambling and babbling, thanks for sticking with me, I hope you weren't too bored. Be sure and visit the various pages mentioned here and most of all my Links, as it gives you more opportunity to continue your surfing of the world wide web! Enjoy and thank you for visiting me.
