My name is Darion Storm and I took Orlando. No I am not a prince, the city doesn't have one yet and it won't for a while, so if you need a wet nurse leave now. My coterie and I do not put up with any crap and I see people in one of two ways.
The first way I see people are as part of the solution to the problems Orlando has. There are many, pick one and help deal with it. In the late summer of 1997 the Camarilla suffered a serious blow. The city of Orlando was lost to the Sabbat and government infiltration. The head of the Sabbat has been removed but many of his minions still linger. The government is still in the streets looking for what it believes are terrorists, god help any kindred who is found by them. Also there are rumors that many of the problems currently in Orlando are the responsibility of two Methusalas who roam the streets playing out the Jyhad. If you have a way to help and the big brass hairy ones to stand up and fight with us then you will be welcome here.
If on the other hand you are in the second class of people, those who are part of the problem, then you had better look out. As I have mentioned earlier, this city has enough problems already without you adding more. I am the representative of House Tremere in this city and I will not allow this city to fall again. My coterie and I are well trained to deal with the threats in this city and if you are part of the problem you will be dealt with as a threat to this city. Make no mistake, there are no jurys or trials here. If we see you as a problem you had better leave before we catch you.

You are in Orlando, do you have a death wish or something? Orlando is a pit. If you want to play real world of darkness this is the place. The Sabbat roam the streets in packs killing indIscriminately, the government is cracking down and could declare martial law at any moment and the other supernaturals have their problems too. Then of course there is the Jyhad that is going full tilt between the two Methuselahs in the city. Of course there is also a full dose of PC backstabbing, demons, angels and old ladies with bricks in their purses and uzis in their trenchcoats. This city is not for the inexperienced or faint of heart. All the normal rules for embraced apply here and then some. You will be required to have detailed files of all your holdings, havens and contacts. Expect enemies to attack them and you had better have ways to deal with it. Orlando is a tough place and you better be ready for it or your stay will be very short indeed.

Why was this channel created?
Some people have asked if this is where the elite gamers play? OR Isn't this a bit cliquish?
In actuality the channel #Embraced_Orlando was created because we had several characters that had survived for over a year in our channel. You would be surprised how far a character can go if they survive for a year in this channel. So it came to pass that we had a group of characters that were overly powerful and dominated the stories. We are constantly adding new players and I felt we needed to allow them the chance to shine. The problem this brings up is what to do with the characters people have spent a long time on? Orlando is my answer. It will give those higher powered characters a place to go when the time comes for them to go on to bigger and better things.
I tried to go to Orlando but you chased me out, why?
This is a tough one for a lot of people to understand. The reason is very simple. All the characters in Orlando are player characters. They make the decisions and this means on occasion that they don't want certain other characters in their city. So if you don't like it, go get a bunch of friends or some dingus of unimaginable power and kick us out. Until you do though, be prepared to get kicked around and possibly kicked out or killed. If this happens please remember it is a game. This is not a personal attack on you, but the way our characters would deal with your characters.
I want to join your channel, but I don't have a character. Can I build a character and come straight to Orlando?
You have read the above statements, you tell me. The main channel #embraced is a very good place to start a new character. It will give you a chance to build your experience and contacts so that you can survive in Orlando. If you insist on trying to start in Orlando please be prepared to get overwhelmed or killed. If you don't then that is great, but I give you a 1 in 1,000 chance of surviving with a straight book character. Before you ask that question about "can I start with a character that can survive in Orlando" you better read rule #1 for embraced.
I got to Orlando and some dick shot me with a gun that isn't in the books. Is this fair?
As it says above, this is a real world of darkness game. Odds are there are many bigger and badder things than a wimpy 7th generation vampire roaming the streets of Orlando. New rules will be introduced and expanded on in Orlando. Please remember this channel was started by individuals who averaged over 125pts of exp. They pushed the boundaries in some areas that weren't covered in the rules so we made them up as we went along. We try to be as fair as possible when these situations come up. Please don't argue excessively if one of these rulings goes against you.
