History
Lucas was born in a small London hospital to Nicholas and Anastasia Romanov. Lucas's parents at the time were working as history teachers at the Cambridge and so at an early age he had much contact with scholars and educated people.
Lucas attended school at Cambridge from an early age getting an informal education at his parents feet, in one of the world's great learning institutions. Finding he had a great interest in all things supernatural and mystical he began to learn all he could about vampires, werewolfs, cults and the black arts.
Despite the environment he grew up in, Lucas had a fighting streak in him, and at early age he began to study martial arts with a seriousness that equalled his scholastic education. By the time he was in his late teens he was a black belt in Ninjitsu.
When he was 19, Lucas, having lived his whole life at Cambridge, moved to a very small apartment in London's east end and began to study theatre at a small acting studio in London's fashionable theatre district. Studying at this school for the better part of his 20th year Lucas found part time work with a small county fair as a knife thrower's apprentice.
After living in London for only a year Lucas left to go live in America, hoping that he could find work writing plays about the supernatural. Lucas' fictional writing tends to be on the very graphic side, and two of his plays were deemed obscene by many people. His writing tends to have a almost anarchistic feeling to it, containg themes that are often very controversial and very shocking. His non-fictional writing tendencies are of a scholastic merit and he continues to write to his professors back in Engalnd.
Lucas is a young man who is more than he seems, dressing at times like a 17 year old and sometimes acting that way, he hides a great scholar and passionate person underneath. He enjoys often doing things against the flow of normality, and has been called by a select few "a modern playwrite for Generation X".
While Lucas lived in London, he fell in love with a beautiful young woman named Michelle O’Conner, and for a time they were passionately in love. Michelle was an actress with the company that Lucas got his first acting job with and his first part was to play Romeo to her Juliet. At first they had a passionate disliking for each other and once even came to blows (she blackened his left eye and split his lip, while he broke her nose). However, during a private rehearsal of the balcony scene, things went past a little kissing. From that point on they had a very passionate love/hate relationship, marked by fist fights and lengthy making up sessions. About two months after Romeo and Juliet finished its run, and seven months after they had met, Michelle and Lucas were walking back to their apartment, when they were stopped by three thugs demanding their money. Lucas told them to be calm and not do anything they would regret. Lucas reached into his jacket to give the men his wallet (his martial arts teacher had told him its better to live and fight another day than to fight when the odds were against you), as he reached into his jacket one of the men panicked, thinking a gun was about to be pulled. The man pulled his gun and fired, hitting Lucas in the hip, and hitting Michelle in the chest.
Michelle ended up dying from her injuries and little did she know Lucas had an engagement ring in his pocket that night. As soon as he was well, Lucas packed up all his belongings and moves to America, unable to face all the memories he had in London.
