An Offering©

To feel your kiss upon my lips,
 Your arms around my waist.
 Within your eyes I take small sips,
 The time not laid to waste.
 To hold you, feel you close to me,
 My life with yours entwined.
 Our lives have crossed in destiny,
 This night will ever shine.
 I look to you and you to me
 The sparks we both can feel.
 For out of darkness light will shine, 
 Tell me is this real?
 Deeper still I look within,
 The light is shining bright,
 Leading me, directing me
 I know that this is right.
 Thank you, Dark One of the night
 The one who crossed my path.
 A place within my heart
